During the pregnancy, the well-being of the foetus - the baby is as important as the well-being of the mother. FOETUS is conceptualized as a one-of-its kind center for foetal medicine and foetal care. We are proud to offer diagnostic and therapy facilities for the expectant parents from Ahmedabad and its surrounding areas. Our center is currently functional in Maninagar area of Ahmedabad - the first exclusive fetal care center in this part of the city. Our services include comprehensive assessment of the health of the baby by ultrasound examination and evidence-based counseling of the parents and the family in case any problems are detected. Further options for management of complicated cases include collecting genetic sample from the baby for genetic studies, and treatment of select conditions with the help of minimally invasive surgery.

The team at FOETUS is led by Dr. Viral Mahesh Pandya, who gained extensive experience in the field of foetal medicine and foetal therapy. He has been trained in India and across the globe and has specialized in the diagnosis and management of complex foetal anomalies. He is one of the few specialists in India to have trained in foetoscopic therapy, including laser surgery for twin to twin transfusion syndrome.

At FOETUS we are proud to use cutting-edge technology in order to give accurate diagnostic imaging to our patients. FOETUS is the first center in West India to use Samsung's next generation HERA W9 ultrasound machine, which is a high-end system designed for the use of foetal medicine specialists. We also use internationally-approved and efficient software reporting systems in order to improve reporting quality.

Our second center is currently under construction on Nehrunagar - Ambawadi Road, and it will include complete facilities for foetal diagnosis, a full foetoscopy suite and availability of a multidisciplinary team for management of complex cases. We hope to be able to welcome you soon at this center.
